PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Preparing your
apparel project brief.

A clear brief makes it easier to discuss your product. You do not need to have every detail finalised before you get in touch.

Fabric swatches and colour references for an apparel project

Start with the style.

Share a product link, sketch, tech pack or reference photograph. Explain which details matter to your brand: the silhouette, coverage, length, neckline or graphic placement. If you are adapting an existing reference, describe the changes you have in mind.

Make your requirements visible.

  • List your expected quantities by style, colour and size where possible.
  • Describe fabric preferences. If you have a reference swatch, mention it.
  • Include artwork and indicate where it should appear on the garment.
  • Explain any special packaging or labelling requirements.

Share the destination and timing.

Tell us where the goods need to arrive and the date you are working towards. Sampling, revisions, production and delivery need to be discussed together before the order schedule is confirmed.

Separate preferences from confirmed specifications.

A reference image is a starting point. Confirm materials, sizing, performance requirements, MOQ, pricing and the approval process for your own project. If something is not yet decided, say so; it can become part of the discussion.
